'Misfits of Change' Supporter Campaign Launches

MOC_Facebook_Post.jpg

We at MISFIT AID AUSTRALIA are excited to announce the launch of the “MISFITS OF CHANGE” Supporter Campaign.

Details of the initiative are below, and please assist us by circulating through your networks. This is the opportune time to jump on board as supporters, sponsors and volunteers.....

In support of the drive, we have also launched a new Vimeo clip of last November’s trip to Chile, in which Misfit Aid Co-Founder/ Director Jeff Ryan shares on the heart of a Misfit Aid volunteer. It was edited by our good friend Aaron Hughes of Christian Surfers International and shows firsthand the culture of what it means to be a ‘Misfit Of Change’. This is a great tool to refer those of interest to -

‘MISFITS OF CHANGE’ | Supporter Campaign.

Within 3 years, 164 Misfit Aid Australia volunteers have worked in 5 countries to build 21 houses , 3 community buildings and infrastructure as well as 8 water sanitation products and 1 food and environmental improvement. 75 local people have been trained with skills in business and building and 8 microenterprise businesses have been started and managed.

Misfit Aid Australia have done all of this with the help of kind sponsorship and by putting 80% of our minimal fundraising dollars directly into projects.

Our success and global relationships bring us so many opportunities to do so much more to empower global communities impacted by poverty disaster and humanitarian crisis. However, to continue our work over the long term, Misfit Aid Australia needs sustainable infrastructure funding that will enable us to pay experienced managers and fundraising personnel.

We would like to invite you to become a ‘Misfit of Change’ - a valuable part of the Misfit Aid volunteer community.

Misfits of Change share the values of Misfit Aid Australia:

·      EMPOWERMENT FOCUSED
Misfit Aid empowers global communities with resources, skills and training to build safe houses, community infrastructure, micro-enterprise development and access to clean water and food.

·      PARTNERSHIP BASED
Misfit Aid partnerships are local in country collaborations empowering best practice for community progress.

·      VOLUNTEER DRIVEN
Misfit Aid gives volunteers the personal opportunity to empower and actively serve global communities, on project teams, through fundraising enterprise and or administrative tasks. Our volunteer community and culture is called “Misfits of Change”.

Ultimately “Misfits of Change” is an ongoing campaign across volunteerism, a culture of a Misfit Movement and Empowerment Projects.

There is no fixed dollar figure to what we are asking for, we are unashamedly seeking support from those that can give or possess relationships with those that can.
"Misfits of Change" is our volunteer community, and one way to be part of it is by becoming a monthly supporter.

Help us today by firstly visiting our website and signing up as a supporter, and then by circulating through your networks. This is the opportune time to jump on board as supporters, sponsors and volunteers.
