Within 3 years, 164 Misfit Aid Australia volunteers have worked in 5 countries to build 21 houses, 3 community buildings and infrastructure as well as 8 water sanitation products and 1 food and environmental improvement. 75 local people have been trained with skills in business and building and 8 microenterprise businesses have been started and managed.
Misfit Aid Australia have done all of this with the help of kind sponsorship and by putting 80% of our minimal fundraising dollars directly into projects.
Our success and global relationships bring us so many opportunities to do so much more to empower global communities impacted by poverty disaster and humanitarian crisis. However, to continue our work over the long term, Misfit Aid Australia needs sustainable infrastructure funding that will enable us to pay experienced managers and fundraising personnel.
We would like to invite you to become a ‘Misfit of Change’ - a valuable part of the Misfit Aid volunteer community.
